Concept Speed Sketch

Started this sketch late last night, and finished it off this morning. Different subject matter for me. Probably a bit of a cliche though. Oh well. I even threw a lens flare in there for extra cliche power.

Ah lens flare... what would we do without you. At least its not a clear one, more of an atmospheric fog light. Great sketch my friend.

Hey Marco this is awesome! Cliche or not I like it! By the way I'd love to see you do tutorials on landscapes / environments (hint hint)- I havn't the faintest inkling how you just make them up!

Hey thanks guys!
Joern - The middleground architecture was inspired by Prague. The rest of it was just trying to make nice shapes, without mimicking any one specific place.

Tim and Ken - I'm flattered that you want me to make a demo. It's something I'd definitely consider doing at some point. I just have yet to convince myself that I'm qualified to do it :)

I think it looks pretty sweet actually. Nice shapes, color and atmosphere- looks great. Cliche ...? I dunno - I didn't think that. If there was a unicorn fighting a dragon in the air maybe that would be cliche? Or awesome? I don't even know anymore- but great work on the other posts too. You put out so much it's hard to comment on them all!
