Need Help! (please read below)

Hello everyone - I'm wondering if anybody out there can help me identify a children's story/poem. It's only one page long, and I originally saw it as part of a larger collection of stories. The text was very simple - it went something like this, "...a rooster holding a piece of string with a dog on it, holding a piece of string with a hippo on it, holding a piece of string with a cow on it, holding a piece of string with a dinosaur on it...etc." If anybody owns a copy of this, or knows the author or title, please let me know!

(And, by the way, the painting above is a scribbley 15 minute life sketch. Been busy lately, so I needed to put something up to keep the blog alive.)

Hi Marco, came across your blog randomly, I'm sorry I can't say I know the poem, but your digital pieces are really really nice!

I'll check back again, and if I randomly find the origin of that poem I'll let you know

I really love the quicker ones - so much energy but a lot of form. Awesome inspiration!

I love the energy in this.

Have you tried putting some of the lines of the verse in Google? That might get you something.
