Tablet PC Studies

These are done with the Toshiba M400 Tablet PC. It took some getting used to though, since it's not quite as responsive as a regular Wacom tablet. These studies are a little on the sloppy side, I think. They're all from life. Looking forward to drawing something more imaginitive this weekend!

Dude - your work is so pro! Are you pro?

Seriously, it's really inspiring to see someone so young doing so well - I hope I can eventually catch up to your level of quality! I especially love your charicatures - they have the most emotion, and you play with the colors more.

I really like these studies a lot, and my only suggestion would be to push the colors more, especially on stuff like the first two.

I look forward to seeing more of your work!

These are incredible! I've thought about getting a TabletPC, I've heard good things about them. Do they have the same level of pressure sensitivity as a tablet?
Good work man, keep it up!

Thanks for the encouraging words guys! Rosie - Thanks for your suggestion - it's been noted. To answer your other question, I do work professionally at a studio, but I hardly consider myself a 'pro' at this stuff. There's just too much to learn. So I put as much time as I can into it.
John - I don't think my tablet PC has the same amount of pressure as the current Wacom models. I don't know for sure, but it probably has 512 levels. I only use it for sketching though, so it doesn't bother me.

TheWrist - Thanks! I have a Wacom 9x12 that I use for all of my digital studies (which is most of this blog). Either that, or my tablet PC. I draw and paint traditionally often as well (mostly just for studies), but I'm usually too lazy to scan them in.
